my Mum is a beliver in traditional wedding shots apparently. She had never heard of reportage photography before our wedding and expected wedding photos to be along the lines of "bride and groom with 3rd uncle twice removed" stiffly standing and posing. Personally I think the worst photos of me are the ones where I am posing - some are truly awful - so reportage was invented to enable me to have photos I am not ashamed to show people :)
